# Changelog

What changed in PX Studio recently, newest first.

PX Studio ships small improvements almost every day. This page collects the changes you notice as a streamer. For questions about a change, ask Pix or write to support@pxstudio.cloud.

## October 9, 2026

- **Languages:** the studio, the dashboard and the bot desk now speak French, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil) besides English and German. Change it under **Settings** → **Account**.
- **Pix and OBS:** with OBS connected in the editor, Pix checks your stream performance and suggests better settings on a card with the current and the suggested value. You apply them with one click and can undo them for 10 minutes. See [Ask Pix](/docs/pix#stream-performance-and-obs).
- **Pix:** drag the **Ask Pix** button anywhere you like, and Pix now looks where your pointer is, smoothly.
- **Packs:** a pack key opens PX Studio for your account, and [pxstudio.cloud/redeem](https://pxstudio.cloud/redeem) explains each step from sign-in to your first overlay.
- **Presets:** the ready-made looks are getting a big upgrade and are marked **Big upgrade coming soon** until then.
- **Sign-up:** new accounts confirm that they are at least 16 years old.

## October 8, 2026

- **Pix:** faster answers, new widgets land in their usual free spot, Pix can put a layer right in front of or behind another one and reports which scenes a change affects.
- **Beta plan:** 20 layers per overlay.
- **Quality:** many fixes across the editor, the deck and widgets.

## October 5, 2026

- **Widgets:** the Alertbox and the Emote Counter no longer show resize handles that do nothing, Emote Storm commands from chat and the deck work without your own emote pool (Twitch global emotes), and `!textreset` puts a Text widget back to the text from the editor.
- **Stream Deck:** plugin 1.4.0 connects with one click in your browser. Needs Stream Deck 7.1 or newer.
- **Settings:** a cleaner layout in the editor and the dashboard, with **API & AI apps** and **Stream Deck** in both.

## October 4, 2026

- **Docs:** a new home for the docs with a page for every widget, an API reference, setup guides for AI apps, OAuth, integrations, an FAQ, a light theme and a faster search with results per section.
- **Groups:** select widgets and press `kbd:Cmd+G` to group them. A group moves, scales and hides like one widget, folds in the layer list and works with undo. See [Editor basics](/docs/editor-basics#groups).
- **Editor:** gestures and cursors work like in the design tools you know: a move arrow while dragging, resize arrows at the angle of the handle and rotate zones at the corners. `kbd:Alt` while dragging duplicates, paste lands at the pointer and `kbd:Tab` moves between widgets.
- **Number fields:** type math like `120+40`, step with `kbd:Shift` or `kbd:Alt` and the arrow keys, or drag on X, Y, W, H and rotation to scrub. Undo and redo briefly highlight the widgets they changed.
- **Pix:** a copy button on every answer, a launcher you can move, GIFs without detours and fewer confirmation questions.

## October 3, 2026

- **Pix and the API:** Pix can now do almost everything you can do in PX Studio, through the same [public API](/docs/api) your own scripts use. Actions show live progress, and changes can be undone.
- **Spin Wheel:** long segment texts always fit inside their segment.

## October 1, 2026

- **Docs, Pix and the public API:** the first version of these docs, the Pix helper and the [public API](/docs/api) with an [MCP server](/docs/connect-ai) and [OAuth](/docs/oauth) for AI apps.
- **Presets:** new and reworked presets, including Retro Arcade, Pastel and Miami Drive, with big titles that scale with the layer.
- **Widgets:** widget updates show up in the editor without reloading.

## September 29 and 30, 2026

- **Image widget:** heavily scaled-down videos stay sharp.
- **Packs:** color variants Gold, Green, Blue, Red and Hot Pink for Minimalism Dark V2.
- **Quality:** many fixes across the editor, widgets and the bot.

## September 28, 2026

- **Editor:** pick a pattern and tone for the canvas background. New widgets are selected right after you add them.
- **Home:** the stream check is a clear status list next to the preview, with stream info below.
- **Chat and Giveaway:** a new compact layout in all looks.
- **Minimalism Dark V2:** a full look family for the style-kit widgets, plus an animated background widget and a pack in the Marketplace.
