# Integrations

Everything PX Studio connects to, from Twitch and Kick to OBS, Ko-fi, Discord, Stream Deck and AI assistants.

PX Studio works with the tools you already stream with. Most connections live in one place: **Settings** → **Connections**. Each one is optional; a feature that needs a connection tells you so in its settings card.

| Integration | What it powers | Where to set it up |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Twitch | Sign-in, alerts, live totals for goals, chat for the bot and chat widgets, stream title and category | **Settings** → **Connections** |
| Kick | Sign-in, alerts, chat for the bot and chat widgets, stream title and category | **Settings** → **Connections** |
| Ko-fi | Tip alerts and donation goals | **Settings** → **Connections** |
| Discord | Links your support tickets in the PX Studio Discord to your account | **Settings** → **Connections** |
| OBS | Shows your overlay; with OBS WebSocket it can add sources and switch scenes for you | [Add to OBS](/docs/add-to-obs) |
| Stream Deck | Fire overlay actions from Elgato keys | **Settings** → **Stream Deck** |
| YouTube | Videos and songs in the Media Player and song requests | The [Media Player](/docs/widgets/built-in-elements) and [Song requests](/docs/song-requests) |
| Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps | Build and control overlays in plain words | [MCP server](/docs/connect-ai) |
| Your own scripts | Everything the editor can do, as REST calls | [API](/docs/api) |

## Twitch and Kick

::: steps
Open **Settings** → **Connections**.

Click **Connect** on the Twitch or Kick card and approve the access on the platform.

The card shows a green dot and your channel name. Alerts, goals and the chat widgets now use this channel.
:::

You can connect both. Widgets that read chat, like the Chat widget, Emote Counter or Giveaway, have a **Chat channels** setting where you pick which connected channels they listen to.

> [!NOTE]
> **Disconnect** stops alerts and live data for that channel until you reconnect. If you also signed in with that platform, your sign-in stays linked.

## Ko-fi

Ko-fi sends tips to PX Studio through a webhook link.

::: steps
In **Settings** → **Connections**, open the Ko-fi card and click **Show setup** to see your personal webhook link.

Open the Ko-fi Webhooks page (in Ko-fi: **More** → **API**), paste the link into **Webhook URL** and save.

Optional: paste Ko-fi's verification token into PX Studio. Donations are then checked against it.
:::

Once the card says **Webhook ready**, Ko-fi tips can show as [alerts](/docs/alerts) and fill a Donation goal on the [Goal Bar](/docs/widgets/goal-bar).

> [!WARNING]
> The webhook link is a secret. Do not show it on stream or share it.

## Discord

Linking Discord connects support tickets you open in the PX Studio Discord to your account, so the team has your setup at hand. It grants no access either way.

::: steps
In **Settings** → **Connections**, click **Get a code** on the Discord card.

Run `/link` in the PX Studio Discord and paste the code. It expires after a few minutes.
:::

## OBS

Your overlay reaches OBS as one browser source. You can add it by hand, or connect OBS WebSocket so PX Studio adds the source and follows your scene switches. See [Add to OBS](/docs/add-to-obs).

## Stream Deck

Install the PX Studio plugin, create a token under **Settings** → **Stream Deck** and enter it once in the **Fire overlay action** key. See [Stream Deck](/docs/stream-deck).

## AI assistants and automation

- Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client with the [MCP server](/docs/connect-ai).
- Build your own tools with the [REST API](/docs/api) and [personal tokens](/docs/api#personal-tokens).
- Apps for other people sign in with [OAuth](/docs/oauth).
