# Loyalty and giveaways

Viewers earn points for watching and chatting, spend them on rewards and join giveaways.

## Loyalty points

Points are on by default for every channel (**Points on for this channel**). Viewers earn them by **Watching** and **Chatting**, plus bonuses for a follow, a sub, a raid and every 100 Bits.

In the **Loyalty** tab you also set up:

- **Rewards desk**: rewards viewers buy with `!redeem`.
- **Ranks** that viewers climb as they collect points.
- **Slots (!slots)**, **Send points (!give)** and **Point loans (!loan)**.

## Giveaways

Open **Giveaway** in the editor toolbar (`kbd:Y`) or the **Giveaway** tab of the bot panel.

Start the giveaway. Viewers enter with the keyword, by default `!join`.

Draw a winner. The **Giveaway** widget shows the entries and the winner on stream; the winner confirms with `!claim`.
