# Confetti

Fire a full-screen confetti burst on command, from your Deck or automatically on follows, subs and Bits.

**Confetti** is a full-screen effect. Nothing shows until you fire it; then paper, streamers, stars, hearts or sparks burst across your whole overlay and fade away. Use it for a reached goal, a raid, a win or simply because chat asked for it.

It lives with the other effects in the **Quick-Fire Deck**, not in the **Add** menu, and it never takes up a layer on your canvas.

## Fire it

::: steps
Open the **Quick-Fire Deck** in the editor toolbar (or press `kbd:Q`).

In the **Effects** section, click **Fire confetti**.

To change how it looks, click the gear button next to the effect. The settings card opens with all confetti options.
:::

In the settings card, **Fire test** shows a burst on the canvas so you can try settings without going live. Test and Fire buttons trigger the effect, so check which output is active before using them.

## Shape the burst

- **Mode** sets the shape of the fire: **Cannons**, **Fountain**, **Rain** or **Burst**.
- **Palette** picks the colors. **Custom colors** gives you three color pickers.
- **Shapes** chooses paper, streamers, stars, hearts, cubes, sparks or a mix.
- **Density**, **Intensity**, **Size**, **Duration (s)** and **Gravity** control how big and how long it is. Lower gravity floats longer.
- **Glow** adds a bright pass that works best with **Neon** or **Sparks**.

**Launch points** are where the confetti starts. Drag the launch markers on the stage to move them.

## Fire it automatically

Under **Triggers**, turn on **Fire on new follows**, **Fire on new/gift subs** or **Fire on cheers / bits**. Every matching event then sets off a burst, no button needed.

## Chat command

You and your mods can type `!confetti` in chat. It works on Twitch and Kick.

## Tips

- Add a **Sound** to play with every burst. Empty means silence.
- Put **Fire confetti** on a phone tile with the [Deck](/docs/deck) or on a key with the [Stream Deck](/docs/stream-deck).
- Pair it with a [Goal Bar](/docs/widgets/goal-bar) celebration or combine both in a Deck macro.

## Styles

Pick a style under **Palette** in the settings card: **Accent mix**, **Gold**, **Pastel**, **Neon**, **Custom colors**.

## Command reference

Every chat command this widget understands, with the default command names. Values in angle brackets are placeholders, for example a number.
