Alertbox

The Alertbox pops up whenever something happens on your channel. One Alertbox covers every event type, so most overlays need just one. You decide which events it shows, what it says, which sound plays and whether a voice reads it out.

It works with Twitch and Kick. Ko-fi donations, memberships, commissions and shop orders arrive through your Ko-fi connection.

Add it

1. Connect your channel under Settings → Connections.

2. Click Add in the toolbar (or press W) and pick Alertbox under Alerts & Goals. Place it where alerts should appear.

3. In the settings card, pick an Event type to edit it. Each type has its own switch, such as Show follows or Show raids.

4. Send a test alert and check it on the canvas and in OBS.

Write your alerts

Every event type has its own Message / TTS line. Placeholders fill in the details:

Next to the text, each type can have its own Media (optional) and Sound (optional). Without one, the Default alert sound plays. Bundle rapid gifts groups a gift bomb into one alert instead of many. For Bits, Kicks and Ko-fi donations you can set a minimum amount.

Sound and voice

Turn on Read alerts out loud and pick a Voice. What gets read chooses between the whole alert line and only the viewer's message. Voice for this type overrides that per event, so you can, for example, read out subs but never follows.

During the stream

Select the Alertbox and quick actions show up above it: Skip alert and Pause, with options to pause for 5 minutes or until you resume. The same actions are in the Deck and on a Stream Deck.

Your mods can do it from chat:

• !alerts skip skips the alert on screen
• !alerts mute 5 pauses alerts for 5 minutes, !alerts mute until pauses until you resume
• !alerts unmute resumes right away

Tips

• How long it stays (seconds) and Card width (px) are the first things to tune for your layout.
• Memberships, commissions and shop orders from Ko-fi are off by default. Turn them on per event type if you use them.

Pick a look under Look in the settings card. Every look is a complete style; colors and fonts you set yourself stay on top. 16 looks are available:
