Emote Counter

Show which emotes your chat uses most, as a live leaderboard or as pop-up chat moments.

The Emote Counter watches your chat and counts every emote. It shows the top emotes of the last few minutes or hours as a live leaderboard, or it stays hidden and pops up a "chat moment" when everyone spams the same emote at once.

It counts Twitch and Kick emotes and the 7TV, BTTV and FFZ sets.

Add it

  1. Click Add in the toolbar (or press W) and pick Emote Counter under Chat & Community.

  2. Check Chat channels so it listens to the right chat.

  3. Choose a Layout and how many Emotes to show.

  4. Pick a look with Choose a look and drag it into place.

Layouts

Chat moments stays hidden and appears only when one emote is used a lot in the last 10 seconds. List, Grid, Race and Ticker show a rolling leaderboard, each in its own shape.

For Chat moments, Show after sets how many uses of the same emote within 10 seconds it takes.

What gets counted

Time window sets how far back the leaderboard looks, from 30 seconds up to 24 hours. Min count hides emotes that were used fewer times than that.

By default the board shows just the emotes and their counts. Turn on Show emote names, Show rank numbers, Show bars, Show trend or Show percent for more detail, and add a Title or Top line if you want a heading.

Fun extras

  • Spike after makes an emote pop when it is used that many times in 10 seconds. 0 turns it off.
  • New top emote celebrates when a new emote takes first place.

Tips

  • A short Time window reacts to the moment; a long one shows the emotes of the whole stream.
  • Empty text only ever shows in the editor, never on stream.
  • Want the emotes to fly across the screen instead? Use Emote Storm.

Looks

Pick a look under Look in the settings card. Every look is a complete style; colors and fonts you set yourself stay on top. 15 looks are available:
